*Because of rain delays on Friday, both singles finalists had to play their semifinals today before the final, then teamed up to win the doubles title.
*Srebotnik won her singles semifinal, her third career Sony Ericsson WTA Tour singles title and her eighth career Tour doubles title in one day.
*Asagoe was playing in her third career Tour singles final.
*Asagoe and Srebotnik won their second Tour doubles title in only their fourth time playing together.  They won their first title at Tokyo [Japan Open] in 2004 in their second event as a team.
*This was Asagoe's sixth Tour doubles title.
*Baker and Lubiani were appearing in their first Tour final in singles or doubles.
